Voices in Your Head
Voices in Your Head is a co-ed group from the University of Chicago consisting of both undergrad and graduate students. Voices’ latest album, “I Used to Live Alone,” was nominated for six CARAs, including Best Mixed Collegiate Album, Song, and Solo and won the awards for 2011 Best Scholastic Original and 2012 Best Mixed Collegiate Arrangement. The group recently took an East Coast Tour, where they had the pleasure of singing with and learning from several collegiate and high school groups. In April 2012, Voices will travel to NYC for ICCA Finals, after winning the Midwest Semifinal with Outstanding Arrangement and Choreo awards, and receiving first place at the Boston Sings Festival Collegiate Competition. Voices has opened for such acts as Cadence and Ben Folds, and will co-host the new Midwest CASA Festival, AcappellaFest, in October 2012. You can hear Voices’ music on the compilation albums Voices Only, Sing, and BOCA, as well as through iTunes, Amazon, and A Cappella Records.
