The Trojan Men
The Trojan Men is the University of Southern California’s only all-male a cappella group. It was founded in January 2005 and to this day, The Trojan Men is the only a cappella group at USC to produce its own solo show, twice a year, in the university’s largest performance venue which holds a recorded 1,235 audience members. In the Spring of 2008, The Trojan Men released its first full length album, Take Root. That same semester, the group graduated its founding members. From humble beginnings, the group has grown from five members to thirteen and continues to perform around the USC campus and in the greater Los Angeles area. In 2009 the group won first place at USC’s Absolut A Cappella Competition and has participated as a performer and clinician at the Las Vegas A Cappella Summit since 2005. In the Spring of 2011, the group released a 4-song studio EP album at their spring concert. The Trojan Men strives to uphold a tradition of professionalism and great singing on which it was founded, while at the same time engaging with its audience members and performing a memorable show.
