Hangovers

Cornell

The Hangovers were established in 1968 as the official subset of the Cornell University Glee Club. Throughout the years, they have grown and matured without ever taking a step backwards. To this day they pride themselves on their professionalism and versatility, singing a range of music from 90’s pop to 17th Century hymns.

A popular question, often received by members of The Hangovers, is “Where did you get that name?” Well, the name actually has two meanings. Besides the obvious, “The Hangovers” is a specific reference to members of the group who are completing a fifth year in either a Masters of Engineering or an Art, Architecture, and Planning degree. These programs are unique to Cornell and thus, unique to The Hangovers. These “Hangovers” have always been an integral part of the group as they are able to bestow wisdom that goes beyond the mere 4-year student.
