Colorado College

The Back Row is Colorado College’s only all-male a cappella group. Founded in 2004, the group has risen to become one of the leading all-male groups in the Rocky Mountain region and the nation. In 2006, The Back Row released their debut album, Unleash the Periscope, and made a cappella history by becoming the first group ever to have a track from a debut album (“Peaches”) be featured on the Best of College A Cappella compilation album (BOCA). The next year, the group released their second studio album, After This I’ll Show You My Rock Collection, and their rendition of Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack” was featured on BOCA 2008. Comprised of 10-15 singers, the Back Row performs regularly on campus, all over Colorado, and around the country from Las Vegas to Maine.
