James Madison University

We are the BluesTones, an award-winning all-female a cappella group at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA! We were founded by students Susie Gaskins and Laurie Wright in February of ‘99, and we’ve been singing our blue little hearts out ever since. We rehearse regularly, arrange our own music, and perform at an array of events and fundraisers both on- and off-campus. We’ve recorded five CDs so far, and we just finished our sixth album, Black and Blue, with Danny Ozment at Emerald City Productions (http://emeraldcitypro.com/) in Springfield, VA!
