Since 1968, the Grains of Time have been the premiere men’s a cappella group at North Carolina State University. Although rooted in a rich tradition of glee club and barbershop style harmony, the grains have continually worked to develop a more modern and contemporary performance style as reflected by many major breakthroughs with “For Your Ears Only.” It is our hope that this album encompasses the hard work put in during the past two years and that you enjoy “For Your Ears Only” as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
