Flip the Script
The Major Minors of Flint Hill School (a high school in Oakton, Virginia) have released their album, “Flip the Script,” for digital download!
Their work is a celebration of contemporary music, with tracks such as “King of Anything” by Sara Bareilles kicking off the album, and Beyonce’s “Halo” and The Fray’s “You Found Me” included in the 8-song track list. They demonstrate their range, though, by finishing out “Flip the Script” with a throwback to the 1980"s in “Friday I’m in Love” by The Cure, and a stirring rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
It’s an eclectic, fun mix of tunes, with a polished feel and tons of talent to enjoy. The Major Minors are here to prove that high school groups can more than hold their own in a recorded world dominated by older and more experienced a cappella singers.
