Twist

"Twist" is the pride of the 2007-2009 UNC Clef Hangers and includes 11 songs from a variety of different artists and genres.  "Twist" won a 2009 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award (CARA) for "Best Male Collegiate Song" ("Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong With That") and was runner-up for 2010 CARA‘s for "Best Male Collegiate Album," "Best Male Collegiate Song" ("Nude"), and "Best Male Collegiate Arrangement" (Jonathan Mauney’s "Boondocks").  Songs from "Twist" have also been featured on multiple collegiate a cappella compilation albums.  Furthermore, American Idol star Anoop Desai is featured on two of the tracks ("Kiss Kiss" and "Ordinary World"), which were recorded before he ever hit it big!  "Twist" is dedicated to the memory of former UNC Student Body President Eve Marie Carson, one of the Clefs’ greatest fans and the epitome of the Carolina Way.  The UNC Clef Hangers hope you enjoy "Twist"!
