Life's a Beach
Life’s a Beach is Awaken A Cappella’s fifth studio release. Ranging in repertoire from Billy Joel to Imogen Heap, this album is a continuation of Awaken’s simultaneous appreciation for both diversity and good music. Awaken’s recorded version of “Hide and Seek” garnered national attention after being played on public radio station KCRW and shooting to the number one requested song. The success of the track also lead to the creation of professional a cappella group Sonos. Like Awaken’s previous album, Dysfunktional Family Album, Life’s a Beach contains an exclusive, original track by Awaken alums, in this case “Career Day” by Mikey G and Dan from Danville (now known as Lady Danville).
